To visit Marseilles Callanques in summer with micro budget: CROUS of Luminy student rooms 2013
ah the famous Calanques of Marseilles! You can not be closer to Calanques if you decide to sleep in a student room of the univeritary campus of Luminy! Bedrooms with a one person bed are small but clean and equiped with a bathroom and a kitchnette. From the building, you are already in the wild side of Marseilles , you can do amazing walks and lunch by the translucide sea! Some advices: - Bedrooms are available for public only during scolar holidays - Ask for Batiment D bedroom (the others doesnt have kitchen and bathroom in the room) - Come by car (it will be more convinent with a car, but feasible with public transport, it's really outside of the city, and public transports in Marseilles are not so great) - Take the opportunity to visit Cassis. You want to visit Marseilles and its Callanques but not sleeping in a student room? Ok no Pb we also tried this wonderful guest house! It's so charming with an orient and mediteranean style. you will beneficial of a nice bedroom and a big breakfast being very close of Callanques. Price: Not so cheap
L'Auberge alternative de Montréal 2012
This is a wonderful Auberge in Montreal, very well located, furnished with dormitories or small private rooms. The common room is superb, with a zen style, teas and coffees for free, sofa and guitare for on the road musicians!

These caravans are so lovely with their funny ambiances: you will have the choice between a vintage or a cinema style but really ths most interesting is the place: it is completly wild no house around apart the host house, you are in the middle of the Beaujolais area, you will see kilometers of vine and you will find many places to taste wine, local cheese and honey! This was the house of my frind in Barcelone. She had a nice appartment for her and the two child and happy to make a few money welcoming friends of friends. Unfortunately she moved to leave with her boyfriend :=( But I will find another nice place soon!!!

This is Rudy House!!! Rudy is my best Dutch friend! He is 60 or 70 years old, hard to say, talking a lot, he love his city and welcome you in a vintage apartment close to the city center but really better than any backpacker hostel! Price: 21 Euros/nights/pers
Coffee in Amsterdam-2010
Now that you discovered Rudy house, let me present you the wonderful coffee of Amsterdam where you can eat incredible brunch in the city center. There are really typical and waiters are really cool. Unfortunately during the weekend its becoming hard to find a seat! Too much success for this mini coffee! Well in case it's full, just cross the canal and you will find a traditional shop selling the Amsterdam waffles!! maim!! oh for the street name: Single number 457.

Budapest is a city full of culture and nice secret places like this messy charming bar. Don't hesitate to ask me in case you want some advice.
Swiss Chalet in Valais. 2009. 40 beds, very nice and cheap.
A typical Swiss Chalet! mountain style with a fireplace, a big kitchen to cook for many persons with of course the fondue and raclette sets! Quiet accessible (you just need to walk 10-15 min from the road in case of snow). The main interest is that you can easily come with any friends to party (40 places in dormitory, blanket provided) without having to be careful to neighbors or luxury sofa. Moreover in spring you can do snowshoes walks directly from the chalet! Enjoy and ask me for details! Price: Cheap!
Somécure maison d'hote-2010
A wonderful guest house, very typical to have a moment detached from materialism, luxe and attached to simplicity in an auto-sufficient village. The house is localized close to Buis les Baronnies in the middle of Provence. You can do wonderful walk, rock climbing and appreaciate the diner warmly prepared by your host. Enjoy! price: cheap

This is just to say that in Maroc, you should definitly meet locals and sleep in their house! There are kind, villages (mount Atlas) are very wild and don't be afraid. We were two girls doing a mountain trek, with a local guide, the only trouble that we had was in Marrakech but in the mountains, it's more that safe! If you need info concerning trks and our guide don't hesitate!
Thessalonique, Greece
Thessalonic is not so famous but has wonderful place to visit and...have cheap easyjet fly going there! a nice step in your greece visit. This is a small youth hostel, difficult to find (for mouth to ears) - so it should be quiet. Price: cheap!

In the continuity of your visit in Greece you will appreciate the mountain of mount Olympus! It's really amazing, you will be on a big mountain with a wonderful sea view! This hostel is really charming, made with wood and in a natural style, you will appreciate the comfort of your room. Price: not so cheap!

Renovated by a very kind person always concerned by the confort of its guests. This is really a nice B&B for discovering Nice area in a quiet place. Honestly we were so zen in this house that we spent hours looking at the view and bulling in the swiming pool. A weekend full of happyness and peace! suggestion 1: for people liking Yoga, the nice tek terrasse and the bird sounds are really healping for meditation sessions. For more suggestion: contact me!
